Introduction

Picnic MCP

Picnic MCP lets you connect AI assistants — like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor — to your Picnic account. Once connected, your assistant can answer questions about your balances and transactions in plain language.

It's built on the Model Context Protocol (opens in a new tab), an open standard for connecting AI agents to external systems.

What you can do today

  • Read your balances across every account and chain Picnic manages for you (main accounts and Gnosis Pay card).
  • Read your transaction history with full multi-currency conversion (USD, EUR, BRL).

What's coming

Read-only is just the start. Future tools will let your AI propose swaps, transfers, and PIX payments — and execute them once you approve in the Picnic app. Card management (freeze / unfreeze) is also on the roadmap.

How it's secured

  • Passkey-bound sessions. Every AI session is tied to your Picnic passkey. Nothing outside the accounts that passkey controls is ever exposed.
  • Scoped access. You approve each capability individually. The AI only sees what you say it can see.
  • Standard OAuth 2.0. Picnic MCP follows RFC 9728 (opens in a new tab), the standard for protected resources, so any compliant client can connect.
